About CMS

Meet Our Team

Cambridge Montessori School (CMS) was founded and incorporated in 1963 as a small non-profit preschool based upon the principles, curriculum and materials developed by Dr. Maria Montessori (1870-1952).
Welcome to Cambridge Montessori. We are delighted that you have taken the time to learn more about our amazing school. Founded in 1963, CMS prides itself on being a community of teaching and learning, respect and inclusion, and making the world a better place. Centrally located in picturesque Cambridge, our students are a vital part of a diverse community that includes people from all over the world.

At CMS we are committed to providing our students with an excellent educational experience that prepares them to navigate, to succeed, and to contribute in their community. Every day our students are engaged intellectually and are encouraged collectively and individually to make an impact in and beyond the classroom. Our students leave CMS with self-confidence, initiative, independence, ethical leadership and the ability to think and act critically.

We invite you to learn more about our school community. Thank you for your interest in Cambridge Montessori. We hope that you will come visit!
